On Wednesday 6 July 2022, State Secretary Dunja Magaš received on inaugural visit H.E. Alan Bowman, Ambassador of Canada to the Republic of Croatia.
As an introduction, State Secretary Magaš thanked for the expression of interest in organizing the meeting, and confirmed the very good cooperation to date between the Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and State Assets and the Embassy of Canada.
The State Secretary thanked, on behalf of Minister Ivan Paladina, the Canadian government for its contribution to post-earthquake reconstruction and other operational assistance during the earthquake disaster.
Ambassador Bowman expressed his satisfaction with the increase in bilateral economic cooperation between Canada and Croatia and indicated the initiative of Canadian investors to invest in the industrial sector of the Republic of Croatia as well as the readiness of Canadian companies to participate in the reconstruction process.
Both sides expressed interest in continuing and developing further successful co-operation.
