Minister Bačić: Cadastral survey completion in Topusko to boost development, investment

Hina - Minister of Physical Planning, Construction and State Assets Branko Bačić said on Friday, at an event marking the completion of cadastral surveys and land registry updates in Topusko, that the project represents a significant incentive for the municipality’s further development and investments.

"This is an extremely important moment for the municipality of Topusko. We will continue working to ensure that the remaining areas of the municipality, not just residential land, are regulated in a similar way," Bačić said in the municipality, located about 100 kilometres south of Zagreb.

The project, valued at €747,000, was carried out by the Geodetic Institute of Rijeka as part of the cadastral survey program for the 2021-2030 period.

"With the completion of the cadastral survey, we have also established a new land registry, which will encourage the development of Topusko," Bačić said, adding that this will increase revenues and accelerate investment in the area.

The multi-year cadastral survey program (2021-2030), worth €401 million, was adopted by the Parliament in 2021 to update key data for development, spatial planning and real estate transactions.

In Sisak-Moslavina County, cadastral surveys have covered the cities of Petrinja, Sisak, Kutina and Glina, as well as the municipalities of Topusko and Lekenik, including parts of 23 cadastral municipalities. The project’s total value exceeds €9.5 million.
