Submitting requests

The submission started on June 5, 2025. All relevant information and documentation in one place.

The request for subsidy payment is submitted to the Agency for Transactions and Mediation in Immovable Properties (APN), Zagreb, Savska cesta 41, 10000 Zagreb, using a prescribed form and including documentation which proves the applicant fulfils the requirements for exercising the right to obtain the subsidy payment.

Required documents:
 
  • For purchasing residential real estate, the request shall be accompanied by:
  1. copy of an ID card
  2. sale/purchase contract for the real estate for which subsidy is sought, concluded after January 1, 2025
  3. copy of an extract from the land registry or the book of deposited contracts
  4. certificate of residence for the applicant and immediate family members at the address of the real estate, not older than 30 days from the date of submitting the request
  5. proof of sale of real estate if the applicant owned or co-owned real estate which was not considered appropriate with respect to Article 21 (4) of this Act,
  6. decision on determining real estate transfer tax based on the sale/purchase contract concluded after January 1, 2025 and proof of payment thereof, or the seller’s invoice issued after January 1, 2025 which states value added tax, or value added tax is contained in the sale/purchase price of real estate for which subsidy is sought and proof of payment thereof
  7. bank account number used for subsidy payment and credit institution which manages the account
 
  • For building a family house, the request shall be accompanied by:
  1. copy of an ID card
  2. permit of occupancy for a family house which has become valid after January 1, 2025 and a construction contract based on which value added tax has been paid
  3. copy of an extract from the land registry or the book of deposited contracts
  4. certificate of residence for the applicant and immediate family members at the address of the real estate, not older than 30 days from the date of submitting the request
  5. proof of sale of real estate if the applicant owned or co-owned real estate which was not considered appropriate with respect to Article 21 (4) of this Act,
  6. issued invoice or payment statement certified by a supervising engineer based on which value added tax has been paid, based on a construction contract for the family house, as well as paid invoices for the design and supervision based on which value added tax has been paid
  7. bank account number used for subsidy payment and credit institution which manages the account

Note: It is not necessary to submit original documents, but the signature on the Request for obtaining the subsidy, i.e. the Statement, has to be certified.
It is not necessary to submit the original sale/purchase contract, concluded after January 1, 2025, for the residential real estate for which subsidy is sought; a certified copy can be submitted.

Other documents can be submitted as copies.
