(Hina) - A report on implementing the 2025 annual plan for managing real estate and movable assets owned by the Republic of Croatia, which was adopted by the government on Thursday, shows that €71 million in revenue was generated from the state-owned property management, €10 million more than in 2024.
"Of this amount, €6 million went to cities and counties, while €8 million went to towns and municipalities," Minister of Physical Planning, Construction and State Assets Branko Bačić said.
In 2025, 1,236 contracts were signed under the relevant law, activating more than two million square metres of state-owned property.
The state also transferred 63 properties worth €13 million to local government units, he added.
"State assets are being managed more actively and efficiently, putting them to use for development and the creation of new value," Bačić said.
The government also adopted a report on the work of the State School for Public Administration in 2025. The school had more than 16,000 participants and delivered 160 professional development programmes and more than 500 training sessions.
The cabinet gave the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure the go-ahead to sign an agreement with Karlovac County on co-financing public passenger road transport services for the period from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2033.
