(Hina) - Physical Planning, Construction and State Assets Minister Darko Horvat in Budinscina on Friday handed over co-financing agreements worth HRK 2.5 million for local projects in Krapina-Zagorje County.
This year the Ministry has approved co-financing 191 projects with the aim of promoting utility management and harmonising utility standards in local government units across the country. Nineteen of them are projects in Krapina-Zagorje County, worth HRK 15 million, and the Ministry will co-finance them with nearly HRK 2.5 million.
"These projects are the key to the development of Croatia's rural areas," Horvat said.
He added that these are mostly projects for the reconstruction and renovation of unclassified roads. In addition to them, there are also projects for the renovation of parking lots, bridge repairs, reconstruction of street lighting, pavement maintenance and others.
