Delegation from Kosovo on working visit to Ministry of Construction and Physical Planning

On Thursday 16 November 2017, Assistant Minister for construction and energy efficiency in the buildings sector Ms Maja-Marija Nahod hosted a working visit of a Kosovo delegation of twelve members, led by Mr Luan Morina, Head of Department for energy of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Kosovo, and consisting of representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning, the University of Priština, the Kosovo Agency for Energy Efficiency, Kosovo Standardization Agency and GIZ consultants.

The delegation has been informed about the work of the Sector for energy efficiency in the buildings sector, projects that were implemented, as well as about the results achieved in the field of energy certification. Ministry employees presented also the work of the Energy Certification Information System (IEC), the system for authorisation of energy certifiers, the system of control of energy certificates, the system of certification of installers of renewable energy sources, and the delegation was also informed about the regulations in force in the field of work of the Sector.

The working visit provided opportunity for very constructive talks, exchange of experiences and expertise, and was concluded with the wish for further continuation of good cooperation.
