On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, the first of three educational workshops for the Call “Development of Green Infrastructure in Urban Areas” took place via online platform Microsoft Teams, and it gathered around 70 participants.
For this Call, published within the Programme Competitiveness and Cohesion 2021-2027, the Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and State Assets has allocated 71,000,000.00 euro.
The Call refers to cofinancing Urban Green Renewal Strategies, project and other documentation, project implementation (developing and/or constructing green infrastructure), project management and administration, project promotion and visibility, horizontal activities and registering the project into the ISPU module Green Infrastructure Register.
The lowest amount of grants that can be allocated to a specific project is 200,000.00 euro, and the highest is 4,500,000.00 euro. The cofinancing intensity is 85%. Eligible applicants are local self-government units (LSGU) and regional self-government units (RSGU).
