All Agreements are signed under the Call for Energy renovation of public sector buildings
Under the Call for energy renovation and use of RES in public sector buildings a total of 550 Agreements are signed with their value reaching over HRK 2,32 billion, while grants amount to over HRK 1,14 billion.
We remind that the Call was published on 15 January 2018, and due to publics high interest grants had to be increased from initial HRK 380 million to HRK 1,1 billion. Second round of the Call re-opened on 4 September 2018 and applied grants surpassed the allocated HRK 1,1 billion. In order to secure grants for all project proposals which meet the eligibility criteria and the minimum score threshold specified in the Call, on 14 March 2019 Minister of Construction and Physical Planning passed a Decision increasing the Allocations under the Call, making the total available grants HRK 1.155 billion.
A total of 759 applications were validated during the Call (447 applications in the first round until 5 February 2018 and 311 applications until 5 September 2018 in the second round). Eligible applicants applied for grants worth nearly HRK 1,56 billion. In the first round of the Call 300 Financing Decisions were passed followed by signing Agreements on awarding grants, totaling over HRK 1,1 billion in projects value and over HRK 571 million in grants. In the second round 250 Financing Decisions, subsequently Agreements on awarding grants, were passed, with a total value of nearly HRK 1,2 billion and HRK 570 million in grants.
Implementing energy renovation projects under this Call will bring about renovation for over 230 schools and kindergartens, nearly 80 health institutions, over 60 social and cultural centers, almost 20 social care facilities and 77 public administration buildings.
