Days of Regional Development and EU Funds held in Šibenik
The conference was held in the Solaris tourist resort in Sibenik, from 4 to 6 October 2018, and was opened by Croptian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, and minister Gabrijela Zalac on behalf of the organizer.
The 'Days of Regional Development and EU Funds' conference, organised by the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds, was held in order to provide numerous representatives of ministries, counties, cities, municipalities, regional coordinators and other institutions important f or regional development with information about financing opportunities through ESI funds, and to enable them to exchange experiences, to interconnect and to strengthen c ooperation in order to realise as many projects as possible.
The Ministry of Construction and Physical Panning was represented by assistant ministers Danijel Zamboki, Milan Rezo and Zdravko Vukic, and by representatives of the Sector for EU Programmes and Projects, who at a promotional stand answered questions of interested participants.
Current policies and development programmes were presented that are aimed at enabling a uniform regional development of all parts of the Republic of Croatia, as well as opportunities for funding regional development through European Union funds and programmes. A ministerial panel with the theme ,,Regional development and EU funds in EU Member States" was also held within the framework of the conference.
