“Development of Green Infrastructure in Urban Areas” – over 300 participants attended workshops

The third and final educational workshop for potential applicants to the Call “Development of Green Infrastructure in Urban Areas” was held On Thursday, November 13, 2025.The workshop was attended by over 150 participants, who received important information on the Call’s requirements, selection and eligibility criteria, application process and defined deadlines. Special emphasis was put on the list of required documents and the level of project readiness.
The Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund (EPEEF) presented potential applicants with the possibility to use professional support in project preparation. The contact address is zelena@fzoeu.hr.
For this Call, published within the framework of the Programme Competitiveness and Cohesion 2021-2027, 71,000,000.00 euro was allocated.
The lowest amount of grants that can be allocated to a specific project is 200,000.00 euro, and the highest 4,500,000.00 euro. The cofinancing intensity is 85%. Eligible applicants are local self-government units and regional self-government units.
The Call refers to cofinancing Urban Green Renewal Strategies, project and other documentation, project implementation (developing and/or constructing green infrastructure), project management and administration, project promotion and visibility, horizontal activities and registering green infrastructure into the ISPU module Green Infrastructure Register.
