Energy renovation - Counties of Varaždin and Međimurje
Once again Croatia is celebrating May 9, Europe Day, and central event took place at the European square in Zagreb, organized together by the Commission representation office in Croatia and the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds.
The minister pointed out that it was time for the hospital to be among the best ones equipped in this part of Croatia and for better conditions to be created for patients. Furthermore, energy renovation results in a much lower energy consumption, and consequently lower overhead expenses, and thus the price difference and the realised savings enable other needs of this hospital, or of the patients and citizens of north Croatia respectively, to be covered.
Through the MCPP only, under the energy renovation calls opened to date, Varaždin County projects amont to more than HRK 211 million and are being realised, out of which HRK 109 million are grants from the ERDF.
Therea fter, the minister also visited Međimurje County, where in the premises of the Primary school Donja Dubrava he handed out two Decisions on energy renovation funding for two primary schools. The decisions refer to energy renovation of the building and sports hall of Primary school Donja Dubrava, and to energy renovation of the building of Primary school Podturen, for which funds almost HRK 6 million in funds have been provided from the ERDF.
In the territory of Medimurje County co-financed energy renovation projects amount toal most HRK 59 million, out of which HRK 32 million are grants provided from the ERDF.
