Energy renovation of multi-apartment buildings continued
Once again Croatia is celebrating May 9, Europe Day, and central event took place at the European square in Zagreb, organized together by the Commission representation office in Croatia and the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds.
Under the Call „Energy renovation of multi-apartment buildings“ 584 agreements were signed on the award of grants from ERDF funds. The total value of the projects exceeds HRK one billion, whereas grants of the ERDF amount to more than HRK 554 million. To date, energy renovation works have been completed on more than 350 multi-apartment buildings.
An example of good practice under this Call is the multi-apartment building at the address Ulica Matije Gupca 32 and 34 in Križevci. The total value of this project amounts to HRK 646,576.74 kuna, with a co-financing rate of 60% for eligible costs, and grants amounting to HRK 367,692.79 have been secured from ERDF.
By implementing this project annual energy savings of 58.82% have been achieved, and the multi-apartment building has shifted from energy class E to B.

In Koprivnica-Križevaci County, four Agreements on award of grants for energy renovation of residential buildings have been signed, out of which as many as three buildings are in Križevci. The total value of energy renovation projects amounts to more than HRK 2.4 million, out of which ERDF grants exceed HRK 1.3 million. Energy renovation works on three buildings in Križevci have been completed, whereas works on the multi-apartment building in Đurđevac are still underway.
