Europe Day – 9 May 2019

Once again Croatia is celebrating May 9, Europe Day, and central event took place at the European square in Zagreb, organized together by the Commission representation office in Croatia and the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds.

Representatives from Ministry of Construction and Physical Planning informed the public at the info stand about the current Calls and most successful projects, but also gave out promotional materials and answered to inquiries from citizens concerning energy renovation of public and multi-apartment buildings co-financed from ESI funds. Gathered citizens and association representatives were greeted by the Minister of regional development and EU funds, Gabrijela Žalac, and director of the Commission representation office in Croatia Branko Baričević.

Croatia is the last member state to join the European union in 2013, and Europe Day is an event celebrated in all member states intended to familiarize the citizens about the Union and its work and organization, as well as benefits it can offer to them.
