Government allocates funding for reconstruction and construction of 400 family houses in assisted areas

At today’s session, the Government adopted the Decision on granting prior consent to the Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and State Assets to assume obligations under the state budget for 2026 and 2027 in order to conclude a contract on public procurement for procurement and delivery of construction and installation material and sanitary equipment for the reconstruction and construction of 400 family houses.

The total value of the project is over nine million euro, VAT included, and the funds are secured from the state budget for 2025, 2026 and 2027.

The Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and State Assets carried out an open procedure for large-scale public procurement of construction and installation material and sanitary equipment. The estimated value of the procurement is 8.8 million euro, and the funds are allocated by counties and procurement subject groups:

  • Group 1: EUR 2,640,000 - Vukovar-Srijem County and Osijek-Baranja County (120 houses)

  • Group 2: EUR 1,540,000 - Brod-Posavina County, Požega-Slavonia County, Bjelovar-Bilogora County and Virovitica-Podravina County (70 houses)

  • Group 3: EUR 2,200,000 - Sisak-Moslavina County, Zagreb County, Krapina-Zagorje County, Varaždin County and Međimurje County (100 houses)

  • Group 4: EUR 1,320,000 - Karlovac County and Lika-Senj County (60 houses)

  • Group 5: EUR 1,100,000 - Zadar County, Šibenik-Knin County and Split-Dalmatia County (50 houses)

After reviewing and assessing the submitted offers, the most economically favourable offers have been selected for each group. The material and equipment will be delivered successively in order to ensure timely and high-quality project implementation.

Material delivery will start immediately upon signing the contract, and the entire project is planned to be finished within 24 months.
