Keys presented by Minister Kuščević to buyers of POS flats in Zapruđe

Today, 27 July 2016, in Zagreb settlement of Zapruđe, Minister of Construction and Physical Planning Lovro Kuščević presented the keys to buyers of POS flats, in a ceremony marking the completion of works at the construction of a residential and commercial building under the Programme of state-subsidised housing construction (POS). The ceremony was attended also by Goran Bradić, Director of the Agency for Transactions and Mediation in Immovable Properties (APN).

The residential and commercial building is divided into 5 wings (A, B, C, D and E), with a total of 519 flats with appurtenant garages and parking places and 10 business premises with an appropriate number of appurtenant garages and parking places. Construction commenced, in compliance with the stipulated construction contract, on 01 August 2014, with a time limit for construction completion on 01 August 2016, and the time limit for delivery to buyers, according to the preliminary contract, is 30 September 2016. The apartment price is 1 088.62 € per m2. The total net useful floor area of flats and business premises with appurtenant garages and parking places is 36 216.55 m2. The total investment value amounts to approximately 293 000 000.00 kuna, out of which the Republic of Croatia provided funds in the amount of about 110 000 000.00 kuna.

Currently, within the framework of the POS programme, 16 buildings with a total of 446 flats are under construction. The biggest among these projects are those in Gospić including 30 apartments, in Split Kila 1 with 162 apartments, in Mali Lošinj with 20 apartments, in Umag with 50 apartments, in Zadar with 73 apartments, and in Varaždin with 108 apartments.

While presenting the apartment keys, Minister Kuščević expressed his satisfaction about the State's efforts resulting in solving the housing issue of 519 families. He pointed out that the Ministry headed by him has been supporting any project that contributes to the common good of Croatia and its population.

The POS building in Zapruđe was built by the company KAMGRAD d.o.o from Zagreb according to the design documentation developed by the company ARHITEKTURA DUPLANČIĆ d.o.o. from Zagreb. Building surveillance was performed by ZEM NADZOR d.o.o. and others from Zagreb.
