New Circular Economy Act open for public consultation – fill in the questionnaire!
In accordance with the Clean Industrial Deal announcement, the European Commission is drafting the proposal of the Circular Economy Act, whose main objective is to accelerate the transition to circular economy in the EU, while strengthening economic security, resilience, competitiveness and decarbonisation in the EU.
The legislative act also aims to overcome a series of obstacles such as insufficient demand and supply of secondary raw materials and fragmentation of the single market for circular products, waste and secondary raw materials. Read more...The European Commission invites public bodies, companies, associations, research and scientific institutions, as well as the general public, to participate in public consultation until November 6, 2025 for the purpose of drafting the Circular Economy Act by filling in the questionnaire available in all EU official languages.
