Winners of 2025 NEB prizes and NEB boosts for small cities and municipalities announced
During the second edition of the event called New European Bauhaus in Regions and Cities in Brussels, 22 winners of 2025 NEB prizes and 20 recipients of 2025 NEB boosts for small cities and municipalities were announced.
The NEB awards promote innovative projects and ideas of the entire EU, Western Balkans and Ukraine which reflect NEB values of sustainability, inclusion and aesthetics. From their foundation in 2021, over 5,700 applications have been submitted.This year, 22 winners and runners-up of NEB awards will receive amounts ranging from EUR 15,000 to 30,000 in two contestant groups:

“Champions of the New European Bauhaus” for projects already accomplished,

“Rising stars of the New European Bauhaus” for promising initiatives of young project applicants.
The prizes were awarded across four categories:

Reconnecting with nature,
-
Regaining a sense of belonging,
-
Prioritising places and people most in need,
-
Shaping a circular industrial ecosystem and supporting circular economy.
You can see all winners and runners-up of 2025 NEB prizes here, and within the “Champions of the New European Bauhaus” group under the “Regaining a sense of belonging” category, a Croatian project called Ilica: Q'ART was one of the finalists.
Twenty recipients of NEB boosts for small cities and municipalities, a new initiative supporting local stakeholders in the development of inclusive, sustainable and beautiful projects, will be awarded prizes of EUR 30,000 to help them overcome obstacles in different phases of the projects.
Two Croatian projects are among the 20 recipients:

project „Amphorarium“ from Murter-Kornati Municipality,
-
project „Housing Cooperative Križevci“ from Križevci.
