Minister says quake damage estimated at €5.52bn(Hina) - Construction and Physical Planning Minister Predrag Štromar said on Wednesday that the damage caused by the quake that struck Zagreb and- its environs on March 22 had been estimated at 42 billion kuna. Štromar: Bill on post-quake reconstruction of Zagreb will be complex(Hina) - The bill on the reconstruction of Zagreb after the March 22 earthquake will be complex because buildings in the centre of the capital are more than 100 years old, and specialists in all relevant areas are involved, Construction Minister Predrag Štromar said in a Croatian television current affairs programme on Monday morning. State will co-finance reconstruction of chimneys, purchase of condensing boilers(Hina) - Construction Minister Predrag Štromar said on Friday that talks were under way with the World Bank on co-financing the reconstruction of chimneys on buildings damaged in the 22 March quake in Zagreb. Minister says money for housing loan subsidies not in question(Hina) - Construction and Physical Planning Minister Predrag Štromar said on Thursday that this year housing loan subsidies would require around HRK 15 million and that the money for that purpose had been secured. Video: Building managers and tenants experience after the energy renovation of their residential buildings
Ministry of Construction and Physical Planning, as Intermediate body level 1, has published the Call for energy renovation of multi-apartment buildings in 2016 within the framework of Operative Programme Competitiveness and Cohesion. Total allocation for energy renovation of the residential building sector is € 100 million, and grants include resources from ESI funds, European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to be precise.

Abu Dhabi hosted the Tenth World Urban Forum (WUF10) organized by UN-HABITAT from 8 to 13 February 2020, and this was also the first time that the World Urban Forum was hosted by a Middle East country. The World Urban Forum is a platform for international gathering and exchange of experiences and views on sustainable urbanisation and possible consequences for urban development in general.
