Physical planning information system (ISPU)
The physical planning information system is an application of the Ministry of Construction and Physical Planning that merges into one unit the Geoportal, Cadastre and spatial plans, enabling to end users, i.e., every citizen simple access to information on rules of space use, on plans under construction and reports on public debates.
Through ISPU all information is available in one place to employees of administrative departments that issue building permits. In July 2015, the system has been upgraded by images of Croatia taken before 1968. The images reveal appearance, size, density and type of settlement, extension of the road network and other infrastructure, and many other interesting urban data of Croatia from that time.
ISPU’s goal is to achieve transparency of the physical planning system, make it available to all and enable simple supervision and control of all processes that occur in it. The information system shall be upgraded in stages and verified data on spatial plans shall be used as a basis on which the e-permit system is based.
